SIMON PETER – Redeemed to Lead

📖 SCRIPTURE FOCUS

John 21:15–17 (NIV):

“Simon son of John, do you love me? … Feed my sheep.”

✍️ REFLECTION

Simon Peter was passionate, loud, impulsive—so sure of himself he promised never to deny Jesus.
But when the pressure came, he failed spectacularly.
He denied Christ three times, abandoning his friend and Lord.
Jesus didn’t leave him there. He cooked him breakfast on the shore, looked him in the eye, and asked “Do you love me?”
Three times—once for each denial—He restored him.
Peter’s shame wasn’t the end. It was the turning point. He was forgiven and commissioned to lead.
This is our story.
We are not defined by our failures. We are defined by Christ’s forgiveness.
